The Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities supports 3,600 people. Supports and services are available life-long through contracts with partner agencies.

All services for people with developmental disabilities are paid for by local tax dollars, and state and federal funds. Our primary source of funding is from property tax levies collected annually. For every $4 we spend of local tax levy dollars, we receive $6 in federal funds, which enables people with disabilities to live, work and lead meaningful lives in Butler County.
