GO Concepts Proudly Sponsors Butler County DD’s Annual Community Recognition Event
GO Concepts is honored to have been a sponsor and attendee at Butler County DD’s 28th Annual Community Recognition Event. Our very own Ted Mehlman, Business Development Coordinator, was recognized for his tireless efforts as a volunteer with a ‘Community Impact Award.’
“Congratulations to everyone recognized, and thank you to the entire team at Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities for all they do for the people of Butler County!” says John Gambill Jr, CEO of GO Concepts Inc. “As for our very own Ted Mehlman, his commitment to supporting others, especially people living with developmental disabilities, is both inspiring and amazing… we truly appreciate him.”
We would like to take this opportunity to commend Ted and the many other honorees that were recognized at this great event!
What Is The Annual Community Recognition Event?
The Annual Community Recognition Event is when Butler County DD highlights the many volunteers in the community that help them make their mission a reality. With over 275 in attendance, it’s a big event for the board and an exciting evening for all involved.
Ted was recognized for his work with Best Buddies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
“Overall, being in the audience and hearing the stories of the Award winners and their contributions was inspiring,” says Ted Mehlman, Business Development Coordinator. “As a member of the Butler County community, I was so proud and moved to know there are so many amazing individuals that do small little things every day that make such a huge impact on people impacted by developmental disabilities. One thing that stuck out: they all shared that they get more back than they ever give. It shows how blessed we are to have such wonderful people in our community. And it’s another reason why I’m at GO Concepts—we are all in!”
GO Concepts was proud to be a Grand Slam Sponsor at this event. Our team was well represented, with Ted Mehlman, Business Development Coordinator, Cole Acomb, IT Engineer+, Sebastian Greathouse, IT Engineer+, and Brett Coburn, IT Consultant, in attendance.
